We are seeking Unified Communications Project Managers for our fast growing company. Our Projects Managers are key customer service and profitability enablers for valued customers as well as our business. They manage the lifecycle of our network, IP Telephony, Contact Center, and internally developed software projects. Our expectation is our employees have a passion for customers and technology. In addition, we require a demonstration of professionalism in all aspects of a project’s implementation.
The ideal person would have previous data/telephony experience and a solid track record of successful short/long term projects which enable higher customer satisfaction and appropriate internal profitability. Although PMs are not expected to be engineers, you must have a comfort with technology along with the ability to absorb complex principles quickly and with comprehension. Our PMs typically manage multiple projects of varying length and complexity.
Experience and Skills Sought:
• The selected candidate will apply solid project management, leadership skills, experience in delivering projects on time, profitably, and with high customer satisfaction.
• The candidate must have excellent oral as well as written communication skills, including the ability to train others in basic telephony and Contact Center products.
• The position will be managing skilled engineering resources; consequently, a PM must have the ability to interact succinctly with customers, engineers, and pre-sales resources.
• The candidate must demonstrate expertise in risk management and mitigation.
• The candidate should also have experience managing within the PMI framework while applying standard methodologies to achieve project results.
• Excellent desktop application skills (Project, Excel, Word, Email, Web, etc) are a must.
Requirements:
• The successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in a suitable technology field with UC experience vastly preferred.
• Five years leading or managing successful technical projects.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Word
• Expertise in Cisco products and logistics procedures a definite plus planning and management is a plus
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
- Compensation: This is a full time position. Occasional travel to customer sites for meetings and training required.
